Facial Waxing – Sugaring in Frisco, TX

Wax and sugar are used as part of a temporary, highly effective method of removing unwanted hair from the lip, chin, eyebrow, sideburns and anywhere else on your face that has unwanted hair. Waxing is a safe, effective hair-removal method but sugaring is quickly gaining in popularity.

Stonebriar Spa’s Estheticians always take time with every client to listen to your concerns and requests. This is especially true with eye brow shaping. It is our goal to create an eye brow shape that best suits you – making sure that it compliments your unique features. Like haircuts, eyebrow shapes aren’t one-size-fits-all. It really depends on the dimensions of your face—and knowing how to shape them based on your specific face shape.

So how do you go about learning how to shape eyebrows? For starters, your unique face shape plays a role in determining which eyebrow shape works best for you. Have an idea of what you want during your waxing or sugaring eye brow service but be open to hearing what your Esthetician recommends.

You will never be waxed sitting upright. This is a dangerous practice that could leave wax or sugar where you don’t want it. And the results including evenness could be negatively impacted.

If you’re using retinol (or any other topical prescription medicine) on your skin or if you’re taking steroids or using Accutane you should not have sugaring or waxing done. Tell your Esthetician about any changes in your medications or if you are using skin care with strong exfoliation acids such as glycolic, lactic, salicylic, AHA, etc . You should also avoid waxing and sugaring if you have bruising, swelling, rashes, open sores, a sunburn, a beard, or cold sores.

More than ever, well-groomed and well-shaped brows perform the role of a frame for the eyes and help to highlight the best features of your face. Eyebrow shape and color is an art that Stonebriar Spa Estheticians love to create.
